🎵 Sounds of Summer

Sounds of Summer is a concert and performance series designed to meet the diverse entertainment interests of our community by providing a variety of music genres and entertainment performances.

The series is comprised of Music in the Park at the Sinnissippi Music Shell in Sinnissippi Park, and Levings Showcase, which includes Live at Levings and Domingos En El Parque, at the Levings Unity Pavilion in Levings Park.

Music in the Park

Music in the Park is an outdoor concert series held at the beautiful open-aired Sinnissippi Music Shell in Sinnissippi Park.

Submissions and Bookings

The Rockford Park District contracts bands from all over the world in a variety of genres, including rock, indie, pop, country, bluegrass, folk, jam, and world music.  We would love to have every band that submits interest on the stage, but have a limited number of shows based on our budget.
