Adult & youth fast pitch softball tournament

Large regional soccer tournament hosted by the Rockford Raptors. Boys & girls teams from across the country will compete.

Executive Director Tim Dimke will give an overview of the citizen survey results, leisure trends, and future impacts along with overall Park District goals. Two or more Commissioners will also be present to lead an open discussion with citizens. There will be attendance prizes drawn for participating in a brief survey. Children's activities will be offered while parents participate in the session.

Over 100 elite youth soccer teams from USYSA Region II (Midwest) converge on Sportscore Two to contest league games in multiple age brackets. League winners at season's end advance to Region II tournament with a shot at advancing to the national youth soccer tournament.

Golf Tournament

Ribbon cutting celebration for the six new Pickleball Courts located at Sinnissippi Park. Come learn more about this fantastic game - a combination of ping pong, badminton, and tennis - fun for all ages! Paddles, pickle balls, people, and refreshments are all part of the fun! Warning - if you try it, you'll be hooked!

Rockford favorite Jeffrey Biegel returns to celebrate the 200th birth anniversary of Chopin and to introduce a concerto, new to the repertoire, by Keith Emerson of Emerson, Lake. and Palmer. Brahms labored for more than ten years to produce his triumphant first symphony, which earned the nickname "Beethoven's 10th" and remains one of the mot beloved symphonies of audiences today.

This event honors the Class of 2010 Inductees. Play day begins at 9 am at Aldeen Golf Club; Awards Dinner held at 5:30 pm at Cliffbreakers. Must RSVP by September 13. Download application below.
