Sinnissippi Greenhouse and Gardens

The Sinnissippi Greenhouse will be closed to the public beginning Thursday, July 23, 2009, in preparation of its demolition due to the new Nicholas Conservatory & Gardens Construction Project. The Nicholas Conservatory and Gardens is being designed for our community to preserve, conserve and rejuvenate the Sinnissippi Park Riverfront.  It will be the third-largest in Illinois, and will feature changing floral exhibits and a year-round exhibition of tropical trees, plants and flowers.

Due to the construction, the Sinnissippi Lagoon is closed this winter for ice skating.

The Rec Path will remain open throughout the construction project.
